Want more scary stories? In Russia you can own weapon with rifled barrel only after 5 years owning a smooth barrel. Even .22 plinker, no matters. You must wait damn 5 years. Situation with guns in russia is totally sucks.

It has range roughly 5-7 meters and energy 50-90 joules. And extremely poor accuracy, which is not surprising. so i can say again:Β situation with guns in russia is definitly sucks. not as somewhere in countries with total ban for civil weapons, but still sucks.

Yeah, you right. But trouble also in laws. Russian criminal code have a concept of "limit of possible self defence". It means, if group of punks try to take away your mobile phone and money, you can resist, but you mustn't hurt them too much, because it's "not murder, it's just robbery". And if you shot one of them to death, it can be treated as "excess ofΒ limit of possible self defence", and justice can go to the punk's side. Also you'll have to prove it was not you first showed aggression. So it's fun to live in russia. There was a incident few years ago, taxi driver tryed to rape girl who was in his car, girl stabbed him in the thigh with the knife and accidentally cut his femoral artery. Rapist die, and justice recognize this as a "unpremeditated murder" and girl go to jail.Β

The fore end and the stock, and the barrel, and the forward ejection tube, all have nothing to do with the MTAR. If anything they're more reminiscent of the RFB and some older ChiCom bullpups all thrown in a blender with a good helping of futurenizirovanniy.
