Commission for
>>>> TIMELAPSE <<<<<
well god daum did I even have problems with this one? First off all, it took me way too long to finish it, ( i even remember I streamed this one) not to mention that when I started making this Timelapse, I had troubles with video format. YOU see I started using Xsplit as a streaming program and it saves recorded files as .flv if you don't want to pay monthly something. Adobe Premiere didn't like that at all. So I had to struggle to find good converter for making all those recordings mp4 instead of flv. I finally found one that works.
Aw man but I enjoyed making this really. I really did
EDIT have no idea how some of you have the idea that I use some kind of a Fur Brush for making that fur?
No I did not, sorry. It is only default brush in Paint Tool Sai and I painted every hair one by one. Here are the settings for that "brush" tho.
So...Finally got this done. Enjoy.

Why waste time on 80 layers when you can do it with 10 or less? Or even "speedpaint" the whole thing.

Does that fact disturb you somehow? I, myself have no problems with techniques I use.
O.o
and what do you mean speedpaint?

None of us have problems with the "techniques" we have developed over the years. The difficult thing is to use efficient and professional techniques we haven't yet mastered.
Speedpaints, outstanding drawings done on 1 layer. Fast and simple to produce but yet beautiful.

Well, it is your opinion. And if you don't like art which aren't speedpaints, you don't have to watch them. I know that everyone have their own tastes what comes to art, but babble about a finished work that how it should be done, isn't so nice towards the artist.
There isn't that one way to make art, deal with it.

Well, it is your opinion. And if you don't like comments which aren't glorifying, you don't have to read them. I know that everyone have their own tastes what comes to techniques, but babble about a piece of advice that how it should be done, isn't so nice towards the writer. There isn't that one way to make art, deal with it.
I can just modify what you said to demonstrate the hypocrisy and loopholes. I am honestly not interested, Grypwolf's opinion on the matter has already been provided and that's good.

It didin't seem advice, but a little bit attacking to artist that what she should do and what she shouldn't do. If you'd like to give that as an advice, there could be a kinder way to say it out. And if you aren't interested, why to bother yourself to spread your ideals to someone who says that she doesn't have any problems to work the way she like.
Modifying that comment shows the hypocrisy and loopholes too.

I don't put sugar and cherries on comments. Sorry.
Regarding the latter sentence of yours. You may take credit for your original reply, after all you wrote it.

It's all about how you say things nicer, not putting sugar coat on them. Or well, if you see it that way, I can't help it but to shake my head and think that why people want to be so offensive.

well I indeed love to make 1 layer speedpaints too - maybe even too much sometimes. They are good way to practice and sometimes, when expressing feeling is more important than clean outcome, I like to do them. But since this one was a commission and they wanted highly detailed painting, I won't go solo and do something that I wasn't payed for.
Hmm. o.o well Good luck and enjoyment on mastering those efficient and professional techniques then. You can do it, soldier!
duh, I too have much to learn, and there is TIME. ;D

Oh wow I must have mistaken it for a preset feather brush. At the speed the video is moving it looks like it's just put on.
My apologies

Absolutely wonderful work! The detail and feathers is great. The pose is awesome, however, I think the head should be emphasized a little more since it is dwarfed by everything else.
Excellent job!

This is gorgeous, I absolutely adore the detail work. Only thing that has me curious is the bending of the lifted leg. As it is anthropomorphic, the leg could have different anatomy, but I'm just wondering if that is what you planned when you bent the foot backwards? (As on usual wolves it doesn't do that)
Not meaning to be offensive in any way, just curious ^^

Did you create your own brushes for this piece or do you have a link do the settings you used to create them?

Is that title a reference to the Zack Hemsey song "The Way," because that title and the final lyrics of the song are very similarly worded.
