Description
Hastily colored gray scales of my Tundra dragon, Neverae.The painting itself took me 3h. Then I had 4 days without doing anything and I made the colors as a warm up for the coming day.

I once asked photographer to take photo of me when I act as not noticing he was taking a photo of me just act as natural shot to show off my so called friend? Pretty pathetic! A lot of weary effort into those with little beneficial outcome. In the end we cut off of relationship.
In another case occurring with another person, he just tried to choose most chilling clothes to look like norm of chilling people. In short, he wanted to be one of them.
It is clear that trying something with norm consumes an effort. No matter whether it is worth investment, people still try it because people expect good outcome from it without real grasp of future.
"Pretend" means doing something that is not what one will do
"To pretend" means role as expecting.
"That I am empty" is dubious because I still wonder what the character feel "empty" about? The character passed through bad things and the character felt empty of bad things or through good things and the character felt empty of good thing.
No matter what the empty means, the character wanted to signal that what the character had to do then or sign was pretty wrong sign that the character couldn't agree with. The character just wanted to show that the character was clearly acing with regardless of motive(s).
Thank God that I have free time to conclude my opinion on this and sorry for my non sense stories above. They may not be really answer but something important I bring to my calculation but from the picture, I just don't see pretending, just tiring eyebrows but that might be due to his natural part of body. I really don't know.

Nicely detailed fur. My first thought on seeing this was that you'd drawn the goat-monster Asriel from "Undertale", what with the "emptiness" and yellowish flowers fitting in with that character.

Maybe because undertale is so on a roll right now. and the goats happen to be white.
It might remind you of Toriel because these two happen to have same face.
