Kae did not follow the rules. For future reference, please do not use his example! Shadows you materialize are not attached to your body. Unless your shadow is already GIGANTIC, it is not going to increase in size during the incantation (the size increase you see in the comic is like special effects. it's fake!). You will need the rest of your shadow (which doesn't have a body and does not have a personality) to power the materialized shadow. The diagrams that Kaeddyn shows best reflect what your shadows should look like when you first materialize them. They are like squishy, shapeless blobs. They do not link back to you (thus they can be stealthy). orz;;

Current submissiosns will be graded on completion of the assignment, so don't worry ; That's all.

Semester 3 Dark Arts: Shadow Materialization

Please take note of the following:
Kaeddyn actually did not properly represent the assignment.. He broke the rules. >|
The incantation is "Live, my shadow," and it can be said in any language. Silent incantation is possible, but very difficult.
The shadow you materialize will change into whatever shape you want (but not size-- as mentioned above, size depends on you when you first say the spell).
Your materialized shadow will not be attached to your body.
You can only materialize ONE shadow.
You must do BOTH aspects of the assignment in order to pass! (Shouldn't be too hard ^^)
Drawing only the extra credit does not count as doing the assignment. Extra credit is EXTRA.
Please get Yuki-sensei's (*Remanoir ) permission before you draw him in your prank. Otherwise, just draw setting up the prank. Eg. Bucket of water over the door.

OTL; I'm so bad at toning, so I decided to do full color pages instead of black/white >__< but it took so long OTL. The cover page/layout is somewhat inspired by Noblesse I got through it somehow by watching episodes of Lie To Me and Criminal Minds. I went through 2 seasons. >_>;

The students that show up belong to their respective owners. Forgive me for the fail chibis too >.<; /can't do chibis to save her life. I hope you figure out who you are >.<; Xerith, Ace, Ellis, Llyr....
