oh forgot to mention that I love the very very stark contrasts between the 3 different tonal areas.
Extreme black to the point where no detail is shown within it... lovely midtones in the face (which is like a meeting ground / melting pot of the 2 tonal extremes as there are also some elements of darkness - freckles- and some of lightness - whites of her eyes).. and then of course the almost blinding white at the top.
Really clever

I don't understand. sorry. can you explain where the perfume bottle comes into it? seems like you have some really unique methods!

you held the perfume bottle just in front of the camera so it wasn't in focus?
iintersting. had you heard of doing this before or you came up with it? sorry for so many questions.. your methods are just really uniquely cool

yes, I hold this bottle out of focus with my left hand
I like to shoot through something - glass, bottles, leaves, etc
don't know how it came to me

this is really beautiful. It's unusual too though. It's not often we see such a crisp, detailed portrait with a bright, blurred band of light cutting across it.
I'm interested to know why you included that. It's not something I would have thought of
Also, if you don't mind sharing.. how was it created? Was this done at the time of shooting or was it added in post processing?

nearly no post processing here, just a contrast enchancement
all picture with all the dark and white areas were taken with one shot

I love the intensity of the tight focus on her eye and the light vignette at the top. Super portrait!
