Description
The tragic figure of the priestess Reika Kuze from the 3rd Fatal Frame game "The Tormented". My personal favourite game of the whole series.The priestess takes the pain of the people while receiving tattoos of snakes and holly and takes the pain to the other side.
Won't tell more, would be too much a spoiler.
drawn with an 0.05 ink fineline pen within 20 hours. My poor hand......
Used PS 7 for the color markups and cropping. Anything else is made by hand.
Fatal Frame "The Tormented" belongs to Tecmo.

so much better. I like the interaction between Reno and Rude. Just could hug them - if they wouldn't be so dangerous. And I was so relieved to see that Tseng is still alive. It was not so clear in the game. After watching the movie I had to play the game again. Oh my, where did all those pixel came from? *lol* Have you seen the trailors for Dirge of Cerberus? Seems like Tseng becomes a playable character. ^^

yep, that's what I thought while playing the game, too. There are always such sad stories. No evil ghosts but ghosts full of sorrow and pain, who can't let go from their life.

I wouldn't really say that none of the ghosts are evil, but if you mean the "main" ghosts, then yes, none of them are truly evil. But I just can't forget Shigure from FF3... she enjoyed stabbing everyone to death T_T

i'm really not sure what fatal frame is/was about. i heard it's sort of...about taking photos and getting reports of true ghosts? that's beautiful, i love the snakes especially.

mal kurz in Deutsch, da ich sonst zu lange für die Vokabeln brauch:
Die Spiele heißen bei uns "Project Zero" und basieren mehr oder weniger auf urban legends und Folkoregeschichten aus Japan. Es gibt sehr interessante Webseiten die zeigen, dass viele der Dinge (a.k.a. Rituale) der Spiele keineswegs frei erfunden sind.
Zum Spielablauf ist es so, dass es generell in Japan spielt, in der Jetztzeit. Auf mehr oder weniger großen Umwegen kommt man in ein "verfluchtes" Haus/Dorf in dem es vor Geistern nur so wimmelt. Die einzige Waffe ist eine Kamera (die den Nachtteil aller Kameras hat: kein Film, keine Bilder) die die Geister bannen/exorzieren kann. Meist unter einem eventbasierten Zeitlimit hat man dan zu lösen, was genau in dem Ort geschehen ist, dass er so geworden ist, wie er ist, und wie man es wieder beheben kann.
Die Spiele sind fies. Alle Geister haben eine Geschichte und zeigen, dass sie immer noch an ihr Leben gebunden sind und teilweise nicht wissen, dass sie tot sind. Sie versuchen, dich zu warnen, wissen aber nicht, dass sie dir damit Schaden zufügen. Und bisher war es in allen Spielen so, dass es keine wirklich bösen Geister gibt. Jeder hat seinen Beweggrund.
Die Aufmachung ist toll. Durch die shockcontroler der Playstation wird der Herzschlag der Hauptfigur direkt auf dich übertragen und der ändert sich, je nachdem ob man näher an einen Geist kommt (Puls wird schneller) oder ob man von etwas erschreckt wird (dann macht auch das Herz einen Sprung - das eigene auch, hab schon häufiger das Pad weggeschmissen). Angeblich soll es mit Kopfhörern gespielt nochmal so gruselig sein, ich hab es aber noch nicht probiert. Ich kenn aber auch welche, die es einfach kalt lässt.

ahh, ich hab auch grade gemerkt, dass es von den machern von silent hill war(?). manman, da kann man auch nichts schlechtes erwarten. aber SH1 hab ich mal vor jahren angespielt...sofort ausgemacht nach ner weile aber, konnte nua zuschaun wie's mein vater mal gespielt hat. der mag ja so n krimsel. uuuhhhghhh. ich ueberleb solche spiele nid lange ohne auszuflippen. genauso wie resident evil. *löl*

Also von Silent Hill war ich ziemlich enttäuscht. Ich hab mal in die 3 reingespielt und fand es a) langweilig und b) stimmungslos. Und Resident Evil...naja...ich wohn in Berlin und die Tatsache, dass der Film hier in der U-Bahn gedreht wurde (zu Teilen) macht es nicht besser.
