For what feels like the longest time, Spongebob & the Fairly Odd-Parents seem to have been the whole, exact and complete identity and drive of Nickelodeon. They are ancient by TV standards. Many of its initial audience are more of a periphery demographic now(FOP premiered exactly two months after I was born).Many shows trying to find a similar audience have never reached such size,left to get washed out the sea and hung out to dry by the network. Many of the people who gave these shows such a colossal position before are the same people who scorn it nowadays for being milked to death. In a weird way, they've been through a rough time despite giving Nick a second wind. No matter how criticized they may e in the present, they will always remain critical,financial and original successes. All waves eventually collapse,but the Big One is still riding high. Pardon the long monologue...and the janky hands. Started/finished 6/29.
