I was going through boxes of my... um... stuff while unpacking, since we moved recently, and found this.This is one of my VERY VERY OLD drawings. When I say old, I mean, like, two years old. You can see how I went through a bunch of erasing, and errors. XD But I completely forgot how much I was into shading!!! I mean whoa... You can also see how I had trouble with (what was supposed to be) Kota's hands holding the fishing pole.
That's Kota's father, Mark, behind him laughing and holding on to Kota so that he isn't dragged into the pond by the fish.

True, one of the aspects about your style that stands out to me about your recent drawings is the way you don't really rely on outlines and the way you occasionally don't even make a distinction between the subject and background (The best example I can think of would be theΒ Mark Stryver , on the right cheek) and it has an amazing effect.Β Basically, sometimes less shading is better, I suppose?

They ARE foxes. Heehee
Mark is never mean to his son according to my story. Kotas his only son, and treats him so unbelieveably kindly. I haven't made a script for these scenes yet, though.

But according to the expressions, he seems he's laughing in a evil way, that was the impression he gave me.
However, if he's good with Kouta, I'm more calm then!
