I'm not so sure if my point will get across lol. But in any case I wanted to do an illustration representing the death of bees. Bees are an important part of this world and a lot of people tend to overlook them as creepy insects that just want to sting you, but they are what help pollinate plants and make honey for consumption. We should be taking care of bees properly not just smacking them in the air when they get too close to your drink!
There's a couple different ways you can take my illustration; either the woman representing the queen bee dying or an actual woman (or the consumer) bleeding the honey of consequenceeessss! I prefer the first interpretation. I only realized there could be double meanings after I was halfway through painting it. Either way it was fun to paint and practice hair! Take care of them bees though!
