"You will have one final undertaking, Hunter."
An obsidian dagger plunges viscerally into the inn-keeper's chest, silver glinting in the dim firelight. He sways unelegantly and collapses into the wall behind, hands trying to find purchase on the slippery weapon. Thoughts and doubts and wishful thinking parade around his mind, but he comes to this conclusion: he will not survive to see tomorrow. Townsfolk have been sharing rumors about a monstrous Hyros, one who is more than half a millenia old and leaks black code-jelly. Who will cut you in half, saving one end for themselves and the other for Hyros to stumble upon. A monster born of a violent end and a vengenful beginning.
"Find the one who did this to you. Who ruined your life."
Wisps of steam escape their mouth, leaving behind a foul odor. They grunt and groan and growl question after question, but only one is repeated and it is the only one that the inn-keeper is unable to answer-
"And robbed you of another one."
"Where is the Hyros who did this to me?"

Centennial Cannibal: Able to consume and digest other Hyros' code-jelly, replenishing their own nanocules and effectively extending their own life beyond the natural lifespan.
