Description
It was time for Inkko to take on her first quest from the tavern! Here a raider named Sawyer has lost one of her boots. She told Inkko that she might have left it by the river or ocean. Though a bit uneasy at the possibility of falling into the water while searching, Inkko happily agreed to help Sawyer with her predicament. Inkko then proceeded to explore Lilypad, starting by searching at the top of the river then following it from there. She made sure to keep her distance from the water so she doesn't accidentally melt.
As Inkko searched, however, she later realized something. I don't know what the missing boot looks like? How can I be sure which lost boot is Sawyer's? There could be plenty of lost boots around Lilypad! Maybe I can just pick up all the lone boots I find? She should be able to pick out which one was hers. Inkko thought all of this herself as she walks by the riverside looking around for anywhere a boot could have been lost. She could just go back and ask her what the boot looks like, but Inkko just prefers to continue her search. She has been looking around the river for a while now, and yet still not a single boot insight. Huh, Inkko thought to herself, I thought I would at least find one boot around town. She had just reached the bridge at this point. Inkko looked around the area, no luck. She thought to look around the town hall and the surrounding orchard, no boots to be found. Here she walked over the bridge to the other side of the river. Maybe she just needs to view the river from a different angle? Plus Sawyer mentioned that her lost boot could also be at the ocean.
Now Inkko is searching by the riverside again, on the opposite side this time. Still not a boot insight. She even doubled checked just to make sure. Then Inkko checked the ocean. While there are lots of cool things to find on the sandy shores, like seashells and unfortunately trash, there were no boots to be found. Huh, this town is pretty big, Inkko wondered to herself, surely there's plenty of lost footwear near water. Here she decided to sit on the beach for a moment to think harder on this search, while also taking a bit of a break. Thanks to being made entirely of ink, stamina isn't exactly a huge issue, neither is muscle strain. But there is nothing wrong with just chilling for a while, Inkko told herself. After just staring at the sea for a while, Inkko resumed her quest. The south part of the beach has been completely searched.
Now there was only the east beach along with the last bits of the river near the gardening center. Inkko strolled along this part of the beach for any signs of a missing boot. Then just after nearly searching the whole town, there is a stray boot! Right along the most north part of the shore. Inkko noted how it matches the outfit she remembered seeing Saywer in, so it must be the one! She happily skipped back to the tavern.
