World's largest and most avaricious gladiatorial event home to the city of Rise. Contestants offer up their everything to enter. As a symbol of entry they are covered in gold powder. The traditional reward for this event is the religious rite to approach and drink from the Lakes of Essers. A mysterious pool of liquid with the ability to heal and rejuvenate the body, soul and mind of all ailments past, present and future (not immortality though). A symptom of drinking this fluid is the patchy goldening of hairs and pigments on the skin.

However you must not drink twice from this pool or even once if your an immediate descendant of a Champion of the Golden Area.

Though must also never bottle nor spread the fluid to other bodies of water...
