***warning, spoiler about the end of Twilight Princess, and a funny spoof at that.Ok, now that thats taken care of, the end of Twilight Princess was very heartfelt. Midna says a teary goodbye to Link and Zelda, then uses that tear to shatter the mirror, giving herself just enough time to hop through the twilight portal. Of course this caused 2 thoughts to run through my head, 1- Why did she do that? Its not like Ganondorf was going to jump through it again. And 2- what would have happened if she missed the timing and the mirror shattered 2 seconds sooner? I drew a comic about #2 because Venus and I thought it was hilarious.

That's Funny. But I think I can Answer your First Question.
You just Need to Look Back at when Lanayru told Link of the Dark Mages and how the Goddesses Banished them. Although Midna and the Twili Descendants of these Magicians (albeit Zant) were Much More Honorable People, though she probably thought it best if the Ties between the Twilight Realm and Hyrule were broken forever, so no More Trouble can be caused from their world or Ugly rumors and legends being told of them.
To put it Simply, That's how it started, and so shall it end.
