Some of the matrices in this Flash animation date back to 2002, the others to 2004. I used to give them female names, respectively:- Sìlyca

- Susan
- Sylvy
These images are a matrix representation of the Helmholtz's resolvent operator for a Sierpiński gasket's prefractal which were computed back then and published on a specialized international journal and a couple of conference proceedings.
