Everyone remembers Ringo Starr as the drummer of the Beatles - I remember him as the narrator of the first two series'/seasons of Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends and Mr. Conductor on Shining Time Station (he was later succeeded by the late George Carlin).

I had drew this for Ringo's 85th birthday a few days ago, but (as almost always) finished it up a bit late. I drew Mr. Conductor in the style of the figures seen in the early model episodes of Thomas - as you can see, he would almost always open a Thomas story up by blowing his whistle.
