This was a quick turnaround and pretty fun to work on, especially when I got to figuring out the lighting! Having a mixture of Chinese dragon and a Chinese albino cobra was really cool and a fun take on a traditional lamia.
Adding more story elements to a piece turns backgrounds more into environments, rather than a near-static image propped behind a character, but something that complements them and adds story has been both challenging and exciting to accomplish. I'm looking forward to more cool pieces in the near future!
