Haay lines by ~wrathofkhantheres a lot of story on this piece, the prologue was actually told by Hubs already! hahahah!!!
I dunnoh if this is epic enough for everyone.
About the colors, that explosion really killed me! you see making epic effects are one of my many weaknesses in coloring hahahaha!! well this is it, I hope hubert likes it, I can't fin the reference you told me hehe. . .
And I believe this is for really something BIG, and yeah he told what this for and Imma keep it for the meantime

i think the colors work, but to add that level of "epic-ness" you think it lack you could have contraster a bit more with that explosion.
for example, the background is a similar color to the explosion and it takes away a bit of the value, i think possibly some type of circular gradient from a darker color to the you have nearest to the explosion could have added a bit more.
also, esplosions are bright, so don't be afraid to put in some glare on it. make a new layer on top of the line-art, and take a really big airbrush with white and play around until it looks bright enough. then play with the oppacity, so the line art isn't lost.
those are just suggestions, btw. this is a nice colored piece.
