Description
I dunno why I did this, but for some reason last week I had the incentive to doodle something from the Ninja Turtles. What it ended up being was The Shredder. Specifically the most evil version of the character they've ever done. The Utrom Shredder from the 2003 cartoon. Ch'rell. Now, while I was working on this last week I got to see something of the new Turtles movie (Out of The Shadows) in that Super Bowl trailer. And that is that they're throwing in Krang alongside all the other stuff fans have wanted to see in a movie since the original cartoon. So I went snooping around and, apparently, after the original new movie was made concept art surfaced of Bebop, Rocksteady, and Krang. One thing I noticed about the concept art however was Krang's body was a bit...different than it was in the cartoon. For starters it wasn't some goofy-blowup-doll looking...thing. But more importantly it had four arms. The only brain-guy with a robot body I remember having that was Ch'rell in the 2003 cartoon. And he really seemed to like that gimmick given that both his "Super Shredder" body in the space-ship fight and his "Alternate Future" self both possessed the four-arm feature. Guess it must be an alien thing.
I guess that's something that's never sat well with me with the newest cartoon on Nick. Aside from the fact that the Kraang...just sound fucking retarded usually with how they talk (though admittedly it is a guilty pleasure at times (and it's hilarious when Gilbert-Godfry-Kraang gets annoyed at it too)) I always thought of Krang as a "character". One that was a brain because he lost his body, even if he was obviously based off of the Utroms in the comics. And the Utroms are what I always thought of as a "species" of brain-guys with robot bodies. And they were good guys. Just something that I never have really gotten into with the new show.
But with the 2003 show we did get one evil Utrom. And by god, Ch'rell is most likely the most evil character in the entire franchise. Like, The Shredder in that show, he was a flat-out murderer. No way around it. And they were more than happy to let that be known. Implied to have killed that Purple Dragon guy in the first episode, cuts down that Triceraton that was helping the Turtles, takes body parts away from Stockman with each appearance until he's nothing but a brain, got millions of intergalactic inhabitants killed prior to his arrival on Earth, and for his final act tries to destroy all of reality itself, even if it means wiping himself out as long as the Turtles die with him. The other Shredders can't even compare to him.
For this I kinda just did my own version of a body for him. It was partly what I remembered of his body he used during the spaceship fight with my own design-ideas I added onto it. Personally I love how it turned out and, should I ever get to that point in the comic, it will most likely be the final body he uses in The Mega Crossover of Awesome.
Also, just for good measure, here's a video I did of that cartoon: www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqQYbm…
Edit February 15th:
Okay...so...I just finished watching Season 2 of the Nick cartoon and...well...holy crap. The show may have its "eh" episodes, but god damn if the finales ain't awesome. Triceratons, Bishop, fucking Honeycutt. Like...it was hard to process things with how quickly the show was throwing stuff at me. The moment they found the "Bishop" piece in the alleyway I was like "...no way...". I always thought those Kraang bodies looked pretty much exactly like him, but I never thought they'd actually put him in. Nice to see the bodies were actually based off of him. And The Utrom...yeah...I guess they are actually in the show now...they're Kraang, but they're there. So...
...in conclusion...Ch'rell still does four arms a lot of times.
Now to get ready for the end of Gravity Falls.

Shredder is rather badass in the new 2012 TMNT too. I mean did you see what he did to Splinter?! --> www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uh3yED…
Also going so far as to mutate himself into a hideous abomination with bone spikes and an exposed heart?
And many of the other bad guys in 2012 TMNT are rather awesome and threatening too. Like you should see what ones like Rat King, Creep, Mom-Thing (the Kraang abomination that April's mother turned out to really be), The Mutant Wasp, and Kavaxas the Demon are like! The new TMNT is really darn awesome!

Ch-rell certainly seemed to think the whole "Omnicidal Maniac" trope was indeed awesome!
