My version of Bow has an Aragorn vibe. As part of the army he was at ground zero when the Horde invaded Etheria. Having lost wife and kids he fled into the Whispering Woods. At some point Bow frees his feathery friend Kowl from being made into a Horde platoon's dinner. He waged a one man guerrilla war against the Horde before joining the Rebellion.
