The comment was more a reference to the fact that he was originally credited as "The Shape" in the original Halloween movie. Hence why the word "Shape" is capitalized.

I'd think that Michelle's hair should be a little more disheveled. She's the type to give a damn about looks, after all.

There's nothing about this that suggests that her real hair isn't just as short as her canon counterpart. For all we know the nuthouse gave them haircuts regularly.

What I mean is, is you saw the original Michael without the mask on, his real hair is really long and bushy. The short hair is only part of the mask, which covers his entire head.

Ahhhh. I see. I thought you meant that there should be hair poking out of the front of the mask. And since this is a front view of the character, there should be no way to see the back of Michelle's neck. Especially with her jumpsuit (and mask's hair) covering up the back of her neck. So the factors indicate that without removing the mask there should be literally no way to see Michelle's real hair.

I really love this. Men to women gender swaps always end up kinda iffy. People do them but they soften the characters too much and unconsciously make them weaker because they're women. This results in the new femme fatal's becoming watered down versions of the originals. But you my friend have managed to keep the badass factor for each of these ghoulish gals~ And for that I am grateful.

I happened upon some Hellraiser comics not too long ago and the Pinhead in that series was a woman.

As far as I know the comics are pretty recent and as the story goes... I don't know if it connects with the books.
It was kind of hard to find the right comics since here we have the harder to find variant covers. The series is still very new, issue 14 came out earlier this year.
