Peter Pan is one of my most favorite books of all time. It was originally a play, though, and a group at my sister's university is performing it this spring. They asked my sister to compose the music for the show, and she just sent me the finished songs, and they are -awesome-. While listening, I decided to make album art for them for my iPod, hence this sketch.

It was done really quickly--only about an hour to an hour and a half, and I wasn't going for technical accuracy (my, Tinkerbell, you're awfully unluminous today!). Just wanted to have fun and do a little art for once. :<

...In regards to the speech bubble: in the book, the only words Tinkerbell ever says (in quotation marks) are: "You silly ass!" She says this rather frequently to Peter. To me and my weird sense of humor, it is also one of the funniest lines in the book. I am so mature.

Also, obviously, this is sort of my own interpretation on how they look, my Peter being relatively influenced by the cover of the version I own. I don't care super much for how Disney designed him--although, it was really hard to come up with my own version of Tinkerbell; Disney did do an excellent job for her, it's ingrained in my brain...
