The Tiger I (Panzerkampfwagen VI) was a menace to the Allied Forces during the Second World War. Though there were 50,000 Sherman's against only 1,400 Tigers the deadly 88mm gun penetrated a Sherman's armour with relative ease causing a high casualty rate for Allied Tank crews.
