Continuing my recent trend of reference sheets, here is a redesign of an old character named Meteor. I made this sheet for my own reference rather than for show, so unlike Ami's sheet I didn't try to clean up my handwriting or define terms.

Meteor is from a headworld far older than both the comic I'm working on and Ami's world. Both the world and its characters are very precious to me-- I have every intention to tell their story one day, but its the kind of story I don't want to attempt until I have enough experience to do it *right*. Anars are basically a dragon equivalent in this world, and I've been back and forth on whether the people in this world would call them 'dragons' or not. Their anatomy is highly variable, so so drawing charts for him only gives me a mild head start on charts for his immediate family.

I tried a bones-up kind of reference with a different anar character about a year ago, and it was a serious struggle. The fact that I can handle it now says a lot about my improvement over the last year! I am of course not an expert when it comes to anatomy, so its very possible that some of the stuff I've drawn here wouldn't be functional.
