Description
This is a painting in acrylics on paper that I did for a friend's birthday. His name is Robert, and being the quite loud and comical character he is, the brushwork style suited, as did the bright background. As for the mouth, well he was pulling quite a face and it was difficult to capture. The skin tone is perhaps darker than I would like, but otherwise I quite like the sort of 'cartoony' appeal it has.
