This is another portrait, part of a Self Identity project I did at school. I like it, we were exploring, oh, I forget the name. All about stark light and shade, I'm sure one of you will know. Although its not an accurate painting of me really, I like it because I find it quite striking. A completely plain face, void of emotion, the only things offering expression are the use of 'colour' and the method of painting. It was done in ink, with some masking paper and grease proof paper to add depth to areas. It seems positively 'EMO', and I suppose you would be right, I was probably depressed at the time. I went through a lot of that, most of it self inflicted.
