You may notice, the odd title. But then, it is only odd because you do not know me. Being hard of hearing slightly; or perhaps just too busy thinking to notice, I often have to say 'pardon' or 'what' in order to get people to repeat themselves. In my clique of friends, this escelated through a series of comical interpretations into a rather violent form of questioning (WHAT!) and often involving aggressive facial expressions. This painting was done with a palette knife; and done rather hastily to create the essence of the WHAT catch phrase. I personally like it; because it holds a moment in time where I am being myself; and yet that self is being purely comical and happy at the same time. Even though the picture may appear to be dark; it is designed to invoke comedy to people who know me, and interest to those who dont. It is in actual fact; a joyous painting.
