Description
This is a painting/collage of the Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi. I think she is exquisitely beautiful, although not as perfect as the girl this peice was created for. It was for a lovely Chinese girl at university who I "courted" (and I believe the old fashioned word is used correctly given Chinese strict social customs concerning relationships) for a few months. I liked her a lot, and we understood each other well despite the language gap. Eventually, through what was apparently her mothers mouth, things ended between us; not that there was much to end. Still, I am glad I tried, and this is one of many things I made for her. An origami boquet was the first thing I made for her but unfortunately I didn't take a picture.
