Amazing work. The subject pojects power, competence, and lethality without being muscle-bound. The braids and ornamention convey the power. Even the massive development of the traps and neck comes across as supporting detail and not the main point of the picture. Really well done. Old, yet powerful. Good stuff.

Great work on this as usual, the character looks very interesting. Has a very Norse/Viking vibe to it which is really cool to see  

Quick question, you mentioned that this was a speed paint. What process do you use to do a character speedpaint because whenever I attempt to do a speed painting I end up getting caught up with the line work and thus have little time for the colouring. I know that with environmental speed painting you put down basic colour, shadows etc and then refine however whenever I attempt this with a character it always looks very messy. I usually end up doing line work on top of the image in order to sort out anatomy issues which arise from my early looseness
