Snow Leopard Black OS X Theme 2014 Update 10.6.8Sorry for the Delay, but MedSchool has absorbed my life...
Download zip, unzip it, mount DMG Image and Install.

Missing installer fixed, added System Lock preventing install in other osx than Snow Leopard 10.6.8
New Uninstaller with Lock, preventing use in other than OSX 10.6.8.

This is the first Black Theme Specially designed for Snow Leopard since 10.6.2 to 10.6.8. and later Unfortunately the font system color still cannot be changed...
I include in this package the installer and uninstaller, the theme has 2 modes the Blue and Graphite modes, with different resources. I also Include my "Dark Dock" style in icon container to be used in Candybar for instance.
Every thing inside the black theme or the dock was made from scratch by me. The white menu bar icons where modified to white to be visible. The menu bar clock font cannot be change so use istats menu for instance so you can have a visible clock; the font of battery icon has the same problems but the icon can be viewed.
*No more issues.

Great theme, but I'm having a little issue with Spotlight: I enter a file name, and Spotlight will list it. However, when I click on the item, it does nothing and the Spotlight menu stays open until I click out of it/hit Command+Space Bar. Any ideas on how to correct this?

Also, if there's anyone who wants to reverse this theme, what you can do is use the Aqua Extreme Uninstaller for the time being, at least until the author of Snow Leopard Black has an uninstaller of his own to offer.

I have 10.6.7, of course it works, the only problem is the deinstallation, if you de-installit you will mess your computer... Not so bad... Use it if you want.

Una pregunta, por que no lo haces opensource para que recivas ayuda, veo que falta mucho para que este terminado, y ya viene OS Lion por lo menos finder lo reescribieron de cero y va aser empezar de nuevo casi, pero ya sabras por donde llegarle, de la barra de menus olvidalo he biscado mucho y todos tienen el mismo problema que el tuyo incliso CCI, y digo olvidalo por que la solución esta en NOCTURNE que te habia mencionado cambia a blanco tanto el reloj como el icono de bateria sin tener que hacerle nada. empezando por que subes los archivos .rsrc, .plist como lo hace silentnight 10, asi no hay problema de desinstalar o instalar solo respaldas y sin riesgos
un ejemplo de que que hay gente tratando de hacer BLACK THEMES en OSX es la siguiente, aun que en lo personal ya baje la de itunes y lo mismo que CCI no me agrada el terminado de cristal pero vaya es interesante este cuate ya arreglo casi todos lo problemas de FONTS, ICONOS, FONDOS y las VENTANAS ya estan completas en negro: [link]

Gracias por tus comentarios, ya revisé el nocturne, lo malo del nocturne es que no tienes control total en la
barra, solo invierte los colores. Casi nadie tiene problema con mi tema, no sé que sucede con la gente que reporta que los iconos no sirven, muchos tienen la barra transparente y por eso no sirven pero al quitar la transparencia en el panel de control se compone... En fin seguiré trabajando para mejorarlo y hacer unos nuevos quizá también. Cuídese...!

hola, yo también soy de México, aun no lo instalo por que tengo Snowleopard 10.6.7, tengo CrystalClear instalado pero casi no me gusta además consume muchos recursos de la memoria, lo voy a probar!!
por el tema de la barra de menu encontre una solución perfecta un programa que se llama NOCTURNE queda impresionante [link] no tienes que hacer tanta maroma, te olvidas del problema de los iconos y letras de la barra de menus.

You can try the uninstaller but you going to have some messed icons, like bluetooth... Nothing serious, and I am going to release a fixer perhaps... Also new version will be the best.

I installed this for 10.6.7 and it works fine except everything on the right (bluetooth, battery, sound, time and date, and airport) are all dark gray. It makes it hard to see. Does anyone know a fix for this?

It works but you cannot uninstall it the best way, you will have some black bar icons that belongs to 10.6.2

For those of you who went stupid like I did, if the top menu bar is an odd gray color, go to System Preferences>Desktop and uncheck the translucent setting. Also, appears to be going well so far on 10.6.6. I actually went through and uninstalled it a couple of times and it worked like a dream. Keep it up bro!

You can do it but you will have bluetooth icons changed to the 10.6.2 version, and I think that is it
