I love this picture. Reminds of what we would see around here in Michigan back in the woods. And the Eagles??? In my travels I had the chance to stand on the corner on Winslow Ariz and they actually have built a monument there. Can you guess who is driving by there??? Check it out at my pbase gallery.

Yup....as soon as I took the picture I knew what i wanted to call it...and then the song started to play in my head. I have not been able to get rid of it for weeks. maybe now that it is posted, the melody will abate...to be replaced by another of course

very nice. it might be a bit darker (yeah it's my obsession to make this kind of photos a bit darker than it should be) but colours are great and this car is great I hope I'll be able to find wreck like that

My pictures are designed to show the full level of detail from non detail black to non detail white. (The back inside of the car is black without detail and the grass in front has lost detail.) If I darken the image at all, even more detail in the shadows will be lost.

Photography is an exercise in compromise, and that is why I like it. This image did not have full sun, so creating a full range was a challenge.

Also I make my images to be printed. This means that some detail is lost in 8bit reproduction, and when going to paper even more. My monitors are calibrated to show what a print will look like when it is made. They are also calibrated to show a full range or white to black. (If you are interested I can send you a site that will help you do that on your monitor, but I warn you, it takes some getting used to) So I can understand that if your monitor is different, the results will not be the way i see them.
