never. I am not even sure where to start, but I do like them. There are a number of people out here who do it, and my cousin was an avid collector. I guess if I ever decided to actually take the time, I would be able to get a lot of help.

I've just done weekend mechanic work...mostly concerning replacing the air suspension on the Lincoln Mark VIII that I used to have. I want to do a project like that sometime though...preferably with a classic or antique...but replace the running gear with something a bit more green...say electric drive.

I have often thought that Discovery channel should run a "Green My Ride" program in a similar fashion to American Chopper. I'm sure you wouldn't like it since the format is similar to "reality" programs, but it would have a very useful purpose in proving that rolling green is possible and cool.

Oh you might be surprised at what I would like. part of my dislike for "reality" TV is how unreal it is. What you describe could be very real and useful. That would affect my interest and tolerance.
