Description

Sometimes, as a graphic artist, I enjoy creating a painting strictly for my own pleasure. This is one of those rare occasions, where I just wanted the challenge of seeing how the finished artwork will look. This symbol is my signature that I add to all my paintings, but modernized as shiny chrome. (My initials are WAR, so the center three vertical lines are a W, the left side is an A, the right side is an R). This illustration definitely has the most lightning bolts I’ve ever seen in a painting.

As I might have mentioned before, my symbol appears roughly half way through the movie Thor: Ragnarök, when Heimdall opens a gigantic doorway by tracing this glyph on the ground. Apparently, according to rumors, someone in the art department saw my Thor painting at Deviantart and liked the symbol. My five seconds of fame.
