just doing some light reading.
I did a small series of these the other day while exploring some abandoned industrial buildings. This was my favorite of the three settings.
Interestingly enough ... I found this old National Geographic in the worst decrepit run-down industrial mess ... must have been a dreamer worked there.

Nice to see more of your work again. I like the subtle ambient light shining through acting as a reading lamp as one you would see in a library. Particularly those old gas lamps.
Also, on the other hand, I was going to interpret the photograph in a such way there is an air of secrecy and a reminder of the secret clubs of the Freemasonries during the middle ages or perhaps a secret library that since you found the National Geographic magazine down there. Certainly, there is a X-file feeling working here.
A wonderful composed scene amongst the neglected, derelict industrial landscape.

Ohhhh, wow! You can really see some amazingly bright colors light up through the "sky light." The contrast of the near pure black dark spots makes the colors stand out even more!
