Raven taped up in color. I've said this before and I'll say this again. I love superhroines whose weakness is being tied up. Thats like cake who's weakness is being eaten, or a televison whose weakness is being watched.Really, what else are you going to do with these items once you have them?

Actually, It wasn't a Titan doing the tying at all, but if I had to guess I would say either Robin, because of the hand thrown nature of the device, or Cyborg, due to its high tech nature. If it were Beast Boy, he could just turn into an LLM. (Look up ST Girls 11,12, and 12.5, if you don't knw what an LLM is.

Her weakness isn't really being tied up. It's being tied up very, very securely. Like completly mummified. Or having very secure restraints and gags put on her.

I just looked up the word Groupie on an online dictionary and got the following as the definition:
"An admirer of a celebrity who attends as many of his or her public appearances as possible."
I always thought it meant:
"A physically attractive admirer of a celebrity, customarily of the opposite sex, who attends as many of his or her public appearances as possible; availing themselves, to frequent participation in amourous dalliances with said celebrity."
I guess by the first definition, I actually have groupies, although that revelation gives me little comfort.

Like I said, "Like a cake whose weakness is being eaten." Any baddie with his hands on Raven is going to securely bind and gag her regardless. The fact that such an act effectively nullifies her super powers as well is just icing on that cake. (Damn--I'm hungry.)

The trouble with getting one's hands on little Raven is having the discipline to put your hands on her spell-casting mouth first. It would be vital to gag her before engaging in any other mischief, and not get lost in a short-lived groping frenzy. Once gagged, she's your toy.

aslong as her emotional, plug, is secure. I once had a thought about her securely bound, a villain taunting her in a cruel way, she compltely loses it, and destroys him.

Hmmm, considering that her power is apocalyptic, and that she has to meditate to control it, I suppose some concession has to be made for her powers. I suppose it could be as simple as a captor saying,
"It took me years, and I almost died five times, but it was worth it to find this."Before placing a medallion over the red diamond thingee on Raven's Christina Ricci-esque (Part she was born to play [link] 
Then it's a simple matter of eposition:
"This 'naj tobar' which translates loosely into keeper of the hottie, negates all magic generated by a magic user, nomatter how powerful.( 
Now Raven's escape is easy enough, taking off the headband holding the amulet on her forehead-once she untied of curse. Until then, we the viewers get to enjoy the site of her tied up, without that pesky apocalypse being triggered.

Everytime I've seen Raven gagged, and unable to say "Azreth Metrion Menthos" she is immediately demoted to damsel in distress status. (It's sort of like whenever someone jumps on Cyborg's back.)
So I'm thinking, no breaking free here.

I alway wondered how that damn spell was spelled. Shes not really that helpless when she gagged as most time she doesn't really need to say those words to still do the things she does but I suppose the tape have a power dampering field builted into just in case.

I guess I'm just going by the fact that whenever Red X put an adhesive tape "x" on her mouth, Raven wasn't spellcasting or fighting, she just stood their "mmmphing", and she wasn't even tied up.
From that I assume gags are the way to go with our pasty princess.

No derision intended. While I usually prefer a woman with a healthy skin tone, Raven totally rocks the sunless look. It's completely part of her "goth-gurl" appeal. "Pale princess" is just another awsome aliteration by this witty writer.
