Still mucking about with this character for the Kipo fan comic I’m working on. Quick stats:
Name: Dr Gin Avocado, aka “the Architect”
Age: Late 20s/early 30s
Ethnicity: Hispanic
Gin is an entomologist who survives on the surface in Las Vistas by mimicking various survival tricks of the bug world. She has zero people skills and mostly kicks around the ruins of a museum with a firefly called Tonic (she doesn’t get the joke). She’s also responsible for creating the mysterious persona of The Architect.
Kipo and Dave meet Gin when they set out to find the Architect in order to save Wolf, Benson, and Mandu, who have been lost to the labyrinth underground sewar system. Gin agrees to be their guide in exchange for getting to study Dave.
Positive, a little cocky, and very easily distracted by SCIENCE ™, Gin was a survivor of Dr Emilia’s Burrow after its destruction by Song’s mute transformation. Many of her Burrow’s inhabitants were eventually collected by the mod frogs and taken to Scarlemagne. As a result, her relationship with Jamack is strained and full of mutual dislike/snark.
