Tehehe. I think Percy's cool too, it's just, for Fred's sake of the whole thing. After all, Fred and Percy's relationship is, well, it makes me laugh sometimes, and gahh... you know what I'm trying to say, right? Because I'm not doing a very good job at it this morning...

I love Fred and Percy's relationship! They're like chalk and cheese which makes for many hilarious scenes in HP. While Percy never seems to understand Fred, Fred seems to understand him well enough (otherwise I don't think he would have been the first to welcome Percy back into the family). Fred makes a big fuss about Percy's backstabbing, but I think he was really quite hurt, which is sort of sweet because Fred normally leaves the emotional stuff to other people, like George. I imagine Percy must have felt as guilty as George after DH, if not more so

Aww... that fic. really does sum it up well...and the ending's quite sad but so good. Although Fred's final moments were awfully sad... I think that J.K Rowling did a great job bringing out how true their brotherly bond really was and although they joked around with one another and Fred teased Percy and such... it showed they really did care a lot of one another... and yes, I agree with you that Percy must have felt guilty after DH as well. Lol. Their bond somewhat reminds me of my two twin friends... We always call them Fred and Percy because they're always teasing each other playfully and stuff...but when things get rough, they're always there for each other. And that's what makes a brotherly bond, in my opinion, really special.

I know - I don't read a lot of fanfiction, but that one just happened to jump out at me. And you're right, though I completely ignore and refuse to accept Fred's death, I loved how JKR had Percy protect him from any further injury (love for stuffy old Perce!)
