Alternate Title: We Hate That Hedgehog.

This is one of the biggest multi-character pictures I’ve done so far, featuring several of the Eggman Empire and Dark Egg Legion characters featured in my Pre-Reboot AU, major or otherwise. It’s mainly the same except the whole clean sweep thing didn’t happen, yet.. but some things from Post-Reboot and the games got pulled into it. Though in truth, this is really just a handful of the people that serve and lead my AU’s Empire.

DOCTOR EGGMAN: Dr. Ivo Robotnik. The Brain, the Head, the Big Cheese. You know him, you love him or hate him, obey loyally and you’ll be compensated, cross him however and you’re smoked. Originally known as Robo-Robotnik before being forced to adopt a new identity for himself, hailing from a parallel world where he proclaimed victory and superiority over his rival, he is certified he can do it again. I don’t have him appear physically much despite pulling all the Grandmaster’s strings to focus on a more original cast. You’ll see him again in Bad Egg Unit: Kill the Freedom Fighters. Coming: Never.

SAGE ROBOTNIK: Artificial Intelligence of the Death Egg Mk2, child super genius and the grand calculator of the empire’s vast communication network the EggNet. The second most intelligent individual in the empire next to the Doctor himself. Is thought highly of by her father Ivo Robotnik and considered a superior servant, assistant and much more to him compared to his personal butler bots Orbot and Cubot. Often runs calculations with lower class A.I in the network such as Ness-La and Seleena, but barely shows friendship to them and mostly views them as outdated models.

METAL SONIC: The accumulation of Robotnik’s genius. Inspired by the original Sonic, but better in every way, designated to be the Hedgehog’s ultimate rival and equal. Strongly dislikes a majority of organics for their weak gross flesh, yet lacks the ability to show or speak of these feelings due to his programming, and doesn't think highly of the Empire’s partly organic members either. Apart from June-La and her family, who he show’s a strangely odd curiosity to, also partly respects Anti-Zac for being a skilled mechanic and both his and June's affinity with technology.

METAL KNUCKLES: Doppelganger to the guardian of the M.E, specializes in strength and power as opposed to Metal Sonic’s motorized super speed. Happens to be Grandmaster Lien-Da’s favorite toy for suppression. Considers her, Sage and Eggman to be his only true masters. Had recently found a bigger rivalry than his flesh and blood counterpart in Mecha Knuckles, another duplicate considered outdated hailing from a island home to rebelling defunct badniks. The Doctor however dismissed the idea of such a place existing as complete nonsense.

LADY CORTANA THE BADGER: Lesser known as the Mendicant, widowing wife to the late and autocratical Grandmaster Carlisle Kriese, originally a thief and wanted criminal, Cortana is the newest member in the ranks of the Grandmasters and the proud co-leader of the D’coolette regions’ D.E.L chapter hailing from Spagonia, sharing it with her twin brother Cortez. Undoubtedly loyal to the Eggman Empire for how much power and wealth it has brought her.

LORD MORDRED HOOD: The self appointed new king of Mercia, Grandmaster of the Mercian Dark Egg Legion in the region of Eurish and a close cultured friend of Anti-Zac. Lord Hood is one of the oldest D.E.L Grandmasters to hold the title. Highly sophisticated but has a strong disdain for technology, apart from his cybernetic suit that had granted him increased mobility. Indifferent about Eggman, but serves him out of fear and respect while building his own reputation.

BRIDE OF THE CONQUERING STORM: Grandmaster of the Raiju Clan/Chun-Nan D.E.L, head ninja master of the Dragon Kingdom and former right hand of the Iron Queen til she was bested, imprisoned then freed, bested again then appointed the new Grandmaster of the Eurish Human D.E.L, now Connie works independently in her own chapter. Considered one of the coldest and deadliest of the Grandmasters, and quite loyal.

CAPTAIN ABYSSIA THE SQUID: The plundering sea witch, the Grandmaster of the Southern Oceans D.E.L and bubbly Pirate Queen. The maniacal, rude yet playful leader Abyss keeps steady control over her underwater region. She shows herself very faithful to the Doctor’s cause for the amount of freedom and compensation given to her chapter for their cooperation.

LADY CLOVE THE PRONGHORN: Co-Grandmaster of the Northamer D.E.L sharing her title with her sister Cassia. Close friend and battle companion to Anti-Zac. She is considered one of the most negotiable, diplomatic and important of the Grandmasters. Originally a wandering orphan along with her younger sister. Clove joined the Eggman Empire in search of a cure of a mysterious illness that had fallen apon her sister in return for her obedience yet the Doctor failed to create proper treatment due to not knowing what was exactly wrong with her. Anti-Zac eventually and successfully procured a vaccine for Cassia and she’s been in his debt ever since. She is of the least loyal to the Doctor for the atrocities he has caused but continues to serve for her sister’s sake, her friends and followers in the empire and the consequences for if she rejects the Doctor.

ANTI-ZAC VLADIMIR THE BAT: A refugee from Moebius, Anti-Zac is the Grandmaster of the Demi-Legion in Downunda, a chapter composed of bats, moebians and various other species that support his personal cause. Prefers willing and free-thinking followers over the cold and brainwashed to present his morality but will not tolerate extreme hostility. Skilled in mechanics, biology and politics, the Grandmaster uses his knowledge and power to keep his territory under control. Had fought in many battles with other Grandmasters against various opposing forces, including G.U.N, Black Arms, Dark Gaia and the rebellious Freedom Fighters.
