Subtle, faded and slightly sad. It's like looking through a haze to a faded memory of the sea, with a rock in the foreground, can you see?

This has a mysterious look to it. Reminds me of a lagoon. Streams flowing into a larger body of water with rocks and ghost like trees surrounding it. If really looked at I see a character--face--and/or figure on the right side (upper). Interesting.

Yeah I saw that face too. This is actually a piece I've been using to vent on from the more detailed piece I'm working on.
I think I might get a lot out of that technique. I could probably complete two or three abstract pieces for every detailed painting I make.
