EDIT 16th of April 2013. - The main painting is done, moved to scraps. You can see the finished work here: [link]A 2am idea that came to me while listening to Nine Horses' "Darkest Birds" (listen to the song here: [link] ).
This is just a proof of concept sketch and will be replaced by a more detailed and better work later on
Edit: it also seems I messed up the lyrics a bit. The original lyrics are:
"Here come the darkest birds
All tar and feathers"
I'll have to correct this in the final piece
