Description
So I've had this idea for a while and I'm sure many others have not to mention the fact that The guy who made the VS. series liked the idea of this. Here are some matchups for Nintendo and Capcom characters and why:

Mario Vs. Ryu
Both are the mascotts of there company (Well technically Ryu always seems to be the first to be announced. In fact Capcom never really decided who's there mascott maybe Captain Commando but who knows?)

Luigi Vs. Ken
Both are always playing second Fiddle to their counterparts (Another idea would've been Protoman)

Peach vs. Roll
Both are cute and full of joy (Well I guess...)

Yoshi Vs. Felicia
Both are adorable, bouncy and Happy Go lucky. Plus I'd like to hear Felicia say "Lets Play Mr.Dinosaur! ^_^"

Bowser Vs.Wily
Considering Wily can have his own moveset both seem to be a good match. And for those who are wondering Bowser can be evil when he wants to be but these days he's a comedic villan whos stubborn and not very bright. Wily would be good for him

Donkey Kong Vs. Zangief
In the Vs. Series Zangief always takes on the "big boys" of the other Franchise (I.E. The Hulk) So I guess DK is the closest thing. Blanka might have also worked

Wario Vs. Tron Bonne
Both are Anti-heroes always doing things for Money Money Money! Both also seem to be clumsy and the interaction would be fun.

Diddy Kong Vs. Deejay

Yeah this one was a toughy and I'm not sure if Deejay is Vs. worthy but both are "hip" and laid back
