I've wanted to get some shots of these birds for the longest time, and finally got a chance a few days ago. They''re so cute! I love their berry sharing ritual, too. Sometimes waxwings will sit in a row, and pass a berry from one bird to the next until one finally eats it. I saw a pair of them doing this deep in the woods sometime back in 2004.

I saw these during my summer Ornithology class, it was the first time I had seen them. The berry sharing ritual sounds so cute. x3 I seem to remember a cartoon with either pterosaurs or Archaeopteryxes that shared berries in that way...maybe Land Before Time?
