Description
Three stages of working the surface on the blades. The cast wasn't 100% so there was a lot of work getting the cracked-looking surface smooth.Work in progress.
The Master Sword is finally coming together.
It has been a lot of work. LOT of work, but today I'll head to my customer for an order check, and hopefully He'll be happy witht hem!
Sterling silver, gilt detailing and fake enamel (tinted resin).
I did try real enamel, even getting a bigger kiln in order to do this project, but I had forgotten lesson A1 in enamelling. "Never try enamel anything with an angle smaller than 90 degrees!".. The enamel virtually jumped off the surface, despite ardous attempts.
Oh, well, I got a better colour with the resin anyway. I hope he will be pleased.
Only thing left now is oxidizing the handles.
