As some of you already knew, i have been working on some art for a game project. The game is Anathema. this is the first of all the playable races.I will be posting a link to the game soon. keep your eyes here. hehehe

Very awesome clothing, the rouge male kinda reminds me of a Lineage 2 dark elf except the bottom part of his jacket doesn't poof up so much.

Loved 95% of that pic. The character design is wonderful. I love the thin builds on the male and the females gear is great. Background is very detailed. The 5% i didn't care for was with all that detail and imagination in the pic, the ground kills it....its like ya got board and said screw it. The background has no transition between what appears as the ground. Cutting the buildings off on a straight line with buildings in the background that are at a differant angle makes it look like a copied and pasted piece...which I can tell by the far your far more capable then that. Also the Male and female though close together dont have the same shadowing....making it appear as even more cut and pasted items.
Figured to many were kissing your behind and ya needed some constructive comment to balance.....Nice art though..But ya fell a lil flat for a "game" quality design.

This is gorgeous, if quite similar to Lineage II. Nicely done- and I love the half smirk on the female's face.

I think it would make an awesome game to play with a controller. Online, huh? Doesn't look like it will be in flash so I don't think I'll be able to play. Unless, of course, it can be played on a platform such as PS2 or GC.

Very cool. I like the individual components, they unfortunately don't seem to actually be in a unified image. Hard to explain. Maybe it's the lack of shadows in relation to the characters and the background.

I totally love the character and costume design. To make the overall pic a little better though, I would have made the characters overlapping or interacting in some way. But over all, this is really amazing. Great work.

Just a shame its a MMORPG because they suck. But hey.
Anyway. Looks nice and enough different from the other dark elves of Lineage 2 and WoW.
The BG work REALLY stands out though.

Why I think they are "less than good" ("suck" whas a bit too strong I agree) is that they are much too open ended and uninteresting.
The character IS you and that is boring.
The storyline is nothing but missions you pick as see fit.
Its just too open. I prefer my RPGs semi linear with characters that are predefined that you get to know as the story progresses.
Whatever rocks your boat they say.

Looks slightly similar to the characters style of "Magic-the gathering". (Is it "a gathering" or "the gathering"? I dunno. Never played that game.)
I like the lady's staff the best. Sexy and deadly. ^_^

nice piece you have here. i've been seeingyour work for a while and have noticed something that one other artist have mentioned: why don't you paint shadows under your characters?? was this deliberately done, or did you forgot? either case, it would look a lot better with the shadow, because it adds to the overall 3-dimensionality of the characters.

ah, well, putting the shadow down will suggest a ground, suggesting a ground will make people want a background.
