Description
After a long battle we defeated the Golem, and inside one of his horns from the head we found a key to a door in the forest, we went through it and entered yet another ruined area, but this looks even more ancient than the ones above.It's a rather dark enviroment, but the air was not stuffy at all, it feels almost just as if we were above ground.
We were looking for the exit when we spot this dark creature pacing back and forth in the other room, it was like a moving shadow but very chaotic and menacing, Our spell casters were still tired from the last battle, so instead of going into battle we all agreed to avoid him and move on.

From the wallpaper I was expecting the monster to be a lot larger, but it works well at this proportion.

phenomenal, as always. I'm floored by the amount of detail you put into this, and the cool way it looks halfway between mechanical and biological. The silvers, blacks and golds blending into one another grabs my attention, too.
the only thing I can find to critique is the fact that he seems to be standing outside his environment; I think this could be fixed by making the blacks of his feet darker. right now it almost looks like they're lighter than the rest of it, and since he's casting a shadow on the floor then it should be cast on his feet too.

I always get sick on RPG's when I see a complicated monster like this, and you can't even see it's face properly -- this guy is a beautiful exception the the rule! I can actually see his face!

This one looks very fluid and raw, like if it was made of oil. The shininess really adds to this. And the skull inside his "mouth" is a really nice touch!

observation exercise kids!
Count all the heads and eyes on the creature! If you don't count the new ones that could pop out of any point in its body at any given moment, then you aren't being a good observer!
