Our fury helped us win the battle against Cerberus, and we were finally able to camp and rest.We were so tired that we slept until dusk of the next day, and we were awaken by the footsteps of what sounded like an army, but much heavier than human; so we got up with our weapons and rushed to the hills.
We saw a herd of about 40 Bone picker demons slaughtering an army of about 700. When they were done, they gathered around a tall armored man, raising his left hand, he drew the life out of the demons and the combined force caused thunders roaring above him.
He looked to us, but did not come towards us because he saw in our eyes the same fear as the demons that he had subdued.
after he turned and walked away, our mages muttered:"Alastor, the high arbiter of the demons...."

A little influence form the LotR movie Sauron maybe? I t is amazingly well done regardless. An in fact I am thinking when I buy another model of Sauron from GW to paint I will use the lighting effect you have given here. I love purple.

The Arbiter is an immense improvement in background, reflection of light on the black armor and sword, along with the draw of energy to his hand, hehe, I've got goosebumps.

That is beautiful work man. The detail is amazing, and I love it when artist not only capture the character of a piece, but also the mood and atmosphere that sends chills. This piece definitely accomplishes that. Very nice work.

Its got beautiful detail and shading! I am interested by the vertical line that the helmet and chest plate make. I think the line is a beautiful way to unify the figure but at the same time, its so straight that it flattens him out.

wow... the effects around the magic, the twisting shadows and black flames, are truely incredible...

...okay... now for the critic: I've noticed that much of your armor is intricately grooved as per the germanic style. this is all well and good, but when you couple that with your personal style of making your image so sharp that looking at them slices one's vision like a razor through a marshmellow(a weird metaphor, I suppose), you lose some of the raw impression by focusing every detail into such an extreem (not to mention the spikey ocular pain it induces)...
anyway, I know that it's your style, and I myself can't really judge you or what you choose to do...
