reusing old BG, sorry
was kind of at a lost of idea when i started to work on this armor design, i like and hate the helmet horns cuz it kinda reminds me of those horns on an elk.
the sword had a lot of ideas going into it, cuz it is supposed to symbolize 12 knights. I thought it would have been too much to actually draw 12 knights on it, i tried to put 12 helmets on it, but in the end i decided to put 12 candles on it, signifying the light that the 12 knights would bring to the world.
the Theme of Belphegor is on his chest and on the cross guard of the sword, a blind folded female presenting a cup of blood(wine)
more or less a design i liked.

The only thing I can say about this, is, that the right leg blends in a bit too much with the hanging material of the robe or what not. Took me a bit to discern it >< Other than that, amazing work!

there is way to much going on in this persons armor;
thumbs up for the intricacy and complexity-that can't be ignored because even though there is some ctrl c/v in here the quality of intricacy is stunning
but for something like Anima (which last I checked was a video game?) over the top design hurts the piece; because when everything starts moving you don't see intricacy; you see a 1 colored shape with some almost randomly placed other color that was previously decor; i've seen it happen time and time again where the small stuff get's lost. With so much small stuff there's to much to look at and that draw's from the coherency of the piece.
so again, as design work it's incredible-but as a art piece it's not (of course, this is all in my opinion and I can be easily wrong).

thanks for your opinion, i draw a lot of armors, and since in a way, the amount of detail sort of signifies the person's importance and power level, i had a certain amount of detail i had to add to him, or else he will look like one of his own grunts.
all of that aside, its always good to evaluate how much is needed for each task.

Holy Balls! It's so epic *fawns over armor* elk antler horns aside (though I like them I think they add a touch of (I'm so bad ass I can have elk looking horns on my helmet and still be bad ass)
The candles representing the 12 knights is very clever and good way to keep a good design from looking over down. you've really managed a good balance between detailing and presentation ( I think that's the word I could be wrong) It's very ornate but it's not over whelming it is just perfect and gives an amazing and almost spine chilling impression.

my eye doesn't know where to focus on this picture...the sash made me confused about where his legs were for a moment there.

Always love the details in your pieces and this is no exception. I do have to say that some of the awesomeness gets lost in this piece. Mostly the legs because the colors are too close. But I do like the look of the piece and the pose is great.
