you've got AMAZING detail in the armour and hair etc. like seriously amazing. its just something about their faces that doesn't seem quite right imo. maybe its just me. but i can't do any better so...
nonetheless the clothes and scene make this pretty sweet

I think some attention to facial anatomy would be of great use to you here in making the facial expressions more believable. The point between the lead's eyebrows is the only place that shows any hint of skin and muscle deformation, but you should definitely have some major creases forming around the mouth, nose, and forehead.
Just my two cents.

I haven't looked at your work for quite awhile. Your backgrounds are getting a lot more complex. I'm used to just seeing single characters but this is rather complex. I was noticing the shadows on the female character up front from her up turned skirt while running. Not sure if you always did that but it's pretty noticeable here. Good stuff.

This is great! I've never seen anything like this from you. The emotion and intensity in this picture are great. The only thing I'd suggest is to alter the directions of the sword. They're all running (and not in the same pose), so wouldn't they be less parallel to each other?

This is absolutely gorgeous, but it looks like she forgot to put on pants...
Seriously, though. This is astonishing--detail, atmosphere, design--but I'd respectfully like to point out that (while lack of realism is just fine considering the genre) fantasy artists as a whole sometimes sacrifice practicality for the sake of appearance. The ladies look great... but you can't only wear full-plate armor on your top half, it not only detracts from the usefulness but you'd keel over, and likewise free-flowing hair just isn't ideal for a battle-situation where you don't want excess things in your way or field of vision... I wish the body types were a little varied, too.

Bref, her lack of armor (and clothes, actually) on her low-half is part of her battle technique : while the ennemy is glaring at her โ beautiful โ tights, he doesn't look at her sword, and she's learnt to take advantage of it.

Your stuff is always amazing, and I really like this one in particular. The angle works well and the presence of other characters who are obviously their own selves, and not just stock background thrown in, is especially effective for setting the epic tone of the battle. Plus, you've made them look like a cohesive force, with the similar uniforms and equipment. That also serves to draw attention to the long-haired woman in black in the lower left, since she's obviously an independent contractor, so to speak, working with but not a member of this army.
Still, just once I would like to see a fantasy artist draw a character who is a girl, and kicks ass, and wears SENSIBLE ARMOR. Now, if they're mages, then I totally get having them wear less armor. Magic users aren't usually involved in hand to hand, so the protection they need is from the opposing side's mages, not from blades. But a character who fights in physical combat should at least know enough to protect her femoral arteries. I don't mean to sound like I'm whining, and it's certainly not my place to tell artists what to draw if I'm not commissioning work, but I just get a little tired of seeing all these ladies who are supposed to be experienced warriors running into battle with vital points completely exposed.
That said, let me reiterate that I adore your work. The detail you put into it is amazing! I can't believe you actually draw all those fabric cutouts and armor filigrees, and things like the belt buckle on the person to the right of Lillian, even the seams on the clothes! You are definitely one of the artists I most admire.

I'm really liking the scenes you've done recently.
The background and such are slightly out of focus, and the overall image is less "jarring"
I love the crisp detail you put on the focus elements, but when the entire picture is that sharp it hurts my eyes!

excellent motion, and amazing detail as always! this picture very much reminds me of the manga Claymore; have you read it?
my only suggestions would be that her thigh seems a bit too long, and her face seems to be only half-expressing the war cry - maybe add a few lines around her mouth and eyes to show stress and anger, and ditto for the face of the short-haired girl in the background.
