This is really good. But, her stance reminds me of Sailor Mars' Flame Sniper attack [link] -scroll down a bit and look for 'Flame Sniper'.... but at the same time, looks slightly different, too. Coincidence?

I think the same, everything looks really cool but the feet. I can see them, but lightning should change on them, because the reflective surface there has a different angle than the rest of the armor. And the perspective of the floor texture doesn't help, we should be seeing less floor (a lower perspective) to stick better the figure to the ground. Cool shading!

The motion blurred leaves take this from "good" to "wow." The way you've juxtaposed the tension of the spear thrust that's about to happen with the calm intent on your characters face gives this image a very Japanese Bushido theme.
