seams that a first tought of a mermaid was common, I have the same tought... but most because of the green legs...

Hee-hee... It reminds me of a friend of mine, who was considered to be the dryad to her boyfriend, the RobTree.

Mhmm. So pretty and atmospheric - but I miss your overboarding texture- skills a bit.

Don't get me wrong. It's a cool drawing and you color well but, what I believe you could make it better. Just adjusting the focus on the foreground elements. The lilypads edges are a little to coarse. They stand out to much. Rather than blending to complete the image the edges makes it seem like they're cut out. Maybe softening the edges would do it.

Wow, nicely done.
Love the way her hair also looks like a tree trunk, great idea.

This picture is beautiful and you are an awesome artist.
However, if I may be picky, the way it is coloured and the empty background (especially the upper part) make her look like she were underwater.
(In fact, i thought she was a siren at first).
Also, I think that there is too much contrast between the detailed elemnts in the foreground and the blurred elements in the background: the main figure seems a little "pasted" in the picuture.
But, again, I am nitpicking and I know that I have none of your skills and talent.

I like how her hair forms into the tree/wood. I didn't even notice that at first.

Interesting picture. At first i thought it was a mermaid, but when i looked again - it's not. I like the background. The smoothness of it. And the hair! And those flowers!!! Actually i like everything... maybe what i DON'T like is those frost plant-things... Everything else looks so smooth.. they're just like- jumping at your face off the picture.. They seem too sharp for me (must be only me).
Just my thoughts about this peace. Like it anyway

Lovely as always, if I were being VERY critical, I might say the outlines of the branches where they meet the swamp look a bit strange.
Might be nice to paint the vegetation over the outlines?
