she isn't showing any cleavage, but at the same time she exposes some skin on her back and on her hips. which makes the outfit look like someone would actually wear it at all. and the tails on the back really make it that much better. she kind of reminds me of a proud peacock. and the jacket in itself is just so pretty and simple. awesome~

this is more along the lines of Cel Shading, which uses a non-photorealistic lighting style during the render, and is basically used to mimic the feel of a cartoon or comic book. My favorite rendering style, actually.
